Toby, Mordechai (“Marco”, “Motke”)

Son of Haim and Felicie. He was born on March 25, 1937, in the city of Pazarzhik, Bulgaria, where he immigrated to Israel in 1948. He completed his studies at the Ramle-Lod High School and was a member of Maccabi. He completed his course in the army and was a commander of the Gadna Air Force in the Ramle region, where he volunteered for the IDF at the age of 17. He was accepted to an aviation course and later served on a ground crew that dealt with aircraft-style aircrafts. (21.11.1957) In the course of his mission, he was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, and on the first anniversary of his death trees were planted in his name in the forest of the defenders of the Jewish National Fund.
