Tevel (Tabul), John


Son of Eliyahu and Simchah. He was born on August 20, 1929 in Oran, Algeria. He studied there in an elementary school and after graduating he also attended high school until he completed his studies there. In 1948, during the War of Independence, he immigrated to Israel. He spent two years in Neve Ilan and was drafted into the IDF in 1950. He was an instructor in agriculture in Be’er Sheva on behalf of the Jewish Agency, and on the 5th of Adar 5762 (March 5, 1962), he fell while serving and he left a wife and three children.
