Tessa, Gavriel (“Gavri”)

Son of Yosef and Yemima. He was born on December 2, 1934 in Tel Aviv. Despite being born in one of the poorer neighborhoods in the city, thanks to his efforts and diligence, he reached the Geula High School. He was drafted into the IDF in October 1953 and fought to join him in a combat brigade, despite his low weight, and was greatly relieved when he was asked to do so and fell in the course of his duties on 23 Adar 5716 (6 March 1956) and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
