Tery, Shalom


Son of Yona and Sa’adia, was born in 1918 in Yemen. Where he studied at the Talmud Torah and later went to work. In 1945 he immigrated with his family to Israel, worked as an agricultural laborer in Even Yehuda and lived in the nearby Ein Yaakov neighborhood with his wife and three children. One night he was wounded in a guard duty in Tel Mond, near Kfar Hess, and was taken to Beilinson Hospital where he died of his wounds on 8/9/1949. . He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Even Yehuda.
