Terechinsky, Zalman (“Zelig”)


Zalman (Zelig), son of Yeshayahu and Devorah Terechinsky, was born on the 17th of Kiskav, November 23, 1926 in the city of Vengerov, Poland. He was active among the Zionist youth and made a living by working as an electrician. Zalman immigrated to Israel via Germany in 1948 and was drafted into the IDF. On the 5th of Iyar, April 22, 1950, he fell in the line of duty and was laid to rest in the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery.
