Teperberg, Zvi-Herman

Son of Abraham and Leah. He was born on December 21, 1945 in Russia. After immigrating to Israel he attended the Gilboa Elementary School and spent two years at the Roosevelt High School – both in Beit Shean. He then moved to Kibbutz Ashdot Ya’akov where he was educated for about a year. Zvi was drafted into the IDF in August 1963. He was a good-hearted man and always took care of the house more than himself, and in the last week of February 1970 he was drafted into active reserve duty. On Wednesday, 12 March 1970, he fell while carrying out his duties. He was laid to rest in the Beit Shean cemetery. In 2011, the space was reinterred in the Kiryat Tivon cemetery.
