Tenenbaum, Avraham-Chaim


Son of Hanna and Baruch David were born in the city of Vyskov, Poland on August 21, 1925. He arrived in Israel in 1948. He was taken to Atlit and a month later he joined the IDF and served in the Negev Brigade. After a short training period he participated in the conquest of Be’er Sheva and excelled in battle. After completing his training, Avraham-Chaim reached the rank of deputy commander and took part in Operation Horev to remove the Egyptian army from Israel, and on 26 Kislav, December 28, 1948, Avraham-Chaim fell in the occupation of the Abu-Agila outpost a few minutes before the conquest of the outpost, and he was buried in Revivim. He left behind a wife. On the 1st of Elul 5710 (14.8.1950) he was transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
