Tempelhof, Yosef (“Otto”)


Son of Baruch and Shoshana. He was born on March 14, 1931 in Nes Ziona, completed his studies at the elementary school in Kfar Saba and studied for a year in a vocational school, where he served in the IDF in May 1948. He served as a patrolman and armored vehicle. Was the youngest of the group and the spirit of it. Childishness and seriousness in the role played in it. On his courage and courage, wondrous stories went on: Once, during a severe air attack, he remained on his attacked car while all his friends hid in the trenches, and he continued to strike and strike with cool composure. Participated in the conquest of Lod and Ramle and the liberation of the Negev. He fought in Iraq-Suiden and Beersheba. He fell on Tisha B’Av 5709 (4.8.1949) while fulfilling his duties and was brought to rest in the Kfar Saba cemetery.
