Taub, Zvi


Son of Bracha and Yitzhak, was born in 1920 in Sochocin near Plonsk, Poland. He was printed in his suit. He suffered many hardships until he reached the homeland. Zvi came to Israel in 1942 with the Polish army. Upon his arrival he deserted and became an active member of the Hagana. With the outbreak of the War of Independence, Zvi took part in many Hagana activities on the Tel Aviv border. Was among the burglars to the village of the rioters Selma. With the establishment of the Israel Defense Forces, Zvi enlisted and served in the Oded Brigade in the Galilee, where he participated in many battles. Zvi was killed in a battle on Tel Azziyat near Kibbutz Dan on July 10, 1948. He was buried in Tel Hai on January 25, 1951. He was sent to rest in the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery
