Tapiro, Yaakov

Yaakov, son of Yitzhak and Zohara Tapiro, was born in 1919 in Wazan, Morocco (his father died on the day Jacob was born) and immigrated to Israel in 1950. He was religious, and after working hours he used to participate in the Torah lessons at home. He was drafted into the IDF in January 1950. He died on 1 Cheshvan, October 10, 1953. He was brought to rest in the civil cemetery in Tiberias and left behind a wife and four children.
