Tamate, Assi (Asmaru)

Son of Bizunsh and Mollo. Born in Ethiopia on the 1st of Tishrei, September 12, 1988. The family immigrated to Israel in 1991, and settled in Hadera. On November 10, 2008 Assi was drafted into the IDF. He served in the navy. Sergeant Assi fell during his service on the 25th of Elul, September 4, 2010, in a drowning accident. He was twenty-two years old. He was laid to rest in the Hadera military cemetery. Survived by parents, five brothers and three sisters.
