In 1974, a few months before his release, he enrolled in accounting studies at Tel Aviv University. He went to study for admission to studies, but it was his parents who received the positive results, shortly after his fall. On April 19, 1974, Eliezer participated in an operational operation in the Golan Heights. At the end of the mission, when the “Yasur” helicopter returned to the airport in Mahanaim, an air clash occurred with another Yasur helicopter. The helicopter in which Eliezer was staying crashed into flames and all eight crew members died. The second helicopter managed to land safely. Eliezer was 22 years old when he died.
