Tal, Roy


Son of Dalia and David, brother of Eti and Yariv. He was born on May 27, 1975 in Kibbutz Givat Brenner. Roi studied at the elementary school and in the real direction of the YH Brenner Comprehensive High School in the kibbutz, where he joined hands in playing and writing, and was accompanied by playfulness and seriousness, humor, curiosity and curiosity. Roi was also active in tennis and basketball, and he joined the IDF in the Armored Corps in the reconnaissance unit of the 7th Brigade for two years and four months. Roy was a professional medic and rescuer. The commander of the company in which he served described him as “a witty and creative soldier, a cynic who has a unique perspective on Israeli reality, who is highly aware of what is happening in the unit and is very attentive to his team and unit. Their pace, it was definitely an exceptional phenomenon. ” On the 31st of Adar 5757 (March 30, 1997), Roy fell in the line of duty in a car accident that occurred in the Golan Heights, near Yehudiya parking lot. With him was Sergeant Shachar Moran. At the age of twenty-one Roi had fallen. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in his kibbutz, Givat Brenner. Survived by his parents and two brothers. After his fall, Roy was promoted to First Sergeant. The commander of the unit in which Roi served wrote to the family in a letter of condolence: “Roi served in the unit as a paramedic, and he performed his duties with the dedication and professional excellence that characterized him.
