Tabeka, Yaakov-Yitzhak

Yaakov-Yitzhak Tabeka, son of Ernst and Fortuna Tabeka, was born in Tunis on December 3, 1929. He studied in a “cheder” and in a government school until the age of 12, but in that same year his mother died and he went to work. In 1948 he immigrated to Israel and immediately joined the ranks of the fighters. On April 27, 1949 Yaakov-Yitzhak died, and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Rosh Pina
