Tabak, Moshe-David
Son of Menachem-Mendel and Amalia. He was born on January 9, 1934 in the city of Timmura, Romania. He graduated from elementary school there. For three years he attended a vocational school in a framework program. Moshe David (whose name is in Romania Mauricio) grew up in a house steeped in Jewish tradition, but in a regime that arose in Romania after the Second World War, there was no comfortable climate for preserving religious values. With the baggage of the news he acquired, and based on his Lev’s inclination, he began to deal with journalism in the Romanian language. When he learned that he intended to immigrate to Israel, he was fired from his job, even though he excelled in it. Moshe immigrated to Israel, together with his family, in 1964. He studied Hebrew in an ulpan, and within half a year he knew the basics of language. But was aware that he would not be able to integrate into the profession of journalism. He decided to change his profession and became a pad. At the same time, he continued to read books in Hebrew, especially in the field of Jewish history. Slowly he also returned to a life of tradition and religious life. He married his choice, Dolly, established his home in Tel Aviv and had a son and a daughter. In May 1966, Moshe made his first acquaintance with the Israel Defense Forces, and since then served every year as an active reservist who participated in the Six-Day War and the Yom Kippur War, and always fulfilled his duty with exemplary loyalty and discipline. Because his life was not easy, he acquired true friends with the peace of mind he was blessed with and his willingness to help others. And during the course of his active duty he was blinded by his blindness and he fell in the line of duty On December 6, 1976, he was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Dimona, where his parents lived, when he was 42 years old and left behind a wife, son and daughter, parents, two brothers and a sister. My eyes at this moment, “Moshe’s commander wrote to his family,” and I remember the man who did everything he was asked to do perfectly, performed without questions. “
