Was born on February 16, 1964 in Moshav Balfouria in the Jezreel Valley, where Arnon began his studies at the Jezreel Elementary School in Afula, and when his family moved to Netanya, Arnon continued his studies and graduated from high school He was very fond of his teachers and classmates and was the driving force in his class, he had a unique sense of humor and the joy of life radiated Arnon was drafted into the IDF in August 1982. Even though he did not carry a rank, he was given a number of responsibilities, which he did best. Because of his excellence in fulfilling his duties, his commanders recommended that he go to the officers’ course, and thus wrote in their recommendation: “He fulfills his duties thoroughly, with precision and with responsibility.” He did his job quietly and modestly, and his friends and commanders felt affection and love. On 29 June 1984, Arnon fell during his service. He was twenty years old when he fell. He was buried in the cemetery in Balfouriya, in a valley he loved, surrounded by serenity and greenery, next to his grandfather and grandmother. In his letter of condolence to the family, his commander wrote: “Arnon was a very positive person, and his role, which was unique and responsible, was in the best possible way.” In his contacts with those around him, he radiated social and pleasantness, He also hoped that a responsible position would be compensated for not being able to serve as he would have wished, in a combat unit, and that he was very active in his work, and not only in his work.
