Suissa, Yitzhak (Jackie)

Son of Sima and Masoud, was born on 2.8.1966 in Morocco. Yitzhak was 3 years old when he immigrated with his parents to Israel in 1969. The family settled in Netanya, where Yitzhak studied in the elementary and comprehensive Mesilot elementary school. After completing eight grades, he moved to the “Neurim” vocational school and studied for another year in the mechanics track. Yitzhak grew up in a home where parents paid close attention to their children’s education. He was alert, adventurous, yet devoted to his family. On May 8, 1984, he was drafted into a truck driver’s course and served as a driver, and on October 13, 1985, he was driving a civilian car in Netanya . Near a junction he collided with a truck and was wounded by mortal wounds. He was 18 years old when he died. Yitzhak was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Netanya. He left behind his parents, brother and two sisters
