Son of Yosef and Hannah. He was born on March 2, 1948 in Casablanca, Morocco. Before the family immigrated to Israel, he studied at the “mother-boys” elementary school. At the beginning of 1962 he immigrated with his family to Israel. Mordechai was a member of the “Hanoar Haoved” movement and after six months he studied diamond polishing and worked in this profession until the day he enlisted in the IDF. Which he served.
