Strabczynski, Shmuel (Shmulik)

Son of Yitzhak was born in 1927 in the city of Kielce, Poland. After the German occupation he went through all the horrors of the Holocaust in various internment and extermination camps and arrived in Israel on an illegal immigrant ship in 1946. He was trained in a children’s company in Kfar Yechezkel and sent to the kibbutz in Petah Tikva and joined the Palmach. He fell in Mishmar Ha’emek on April 13, 1948 and was buried in Mishmar Ha’emek. On the 1st of Elul 5710 (14.8.1950) he was put to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
