Stolz, Jeanette


Daughter of Zina and Yechezkel. Born in Czernowitz, Ukraine, on the 21st of Kislev, December 16, 1973. Janet enlisted in the IDF in October 1995, successfully completed an officers’ course, and was assigned to the head of the Education and Youth Corps where she was appointed as a budget organization officer. She completed a number of challenging positions in the budget of the IDF’s Technological and Logistics Division. In 2000, Janet was promoted to head of the Budget Reviews Division. Throughout her service and in all her duties, Janet had been greatly admired by commanders, subordinates and colleagues. During the Second Lebanon War, Janet was a partner in the war effort that was required of the headquarters staff of the Transport Center. In January 2007, she discovered she had cancer. Janet’s battle for cancer ended on Saturday, the 6th of Cheshvan, October 24, 2009. She was buried at the military cemetery in Netanya, leaving behind her husband, son, parents and brother.
