Stileman, Eliezer (Luzy)
Eliezer (Luzi), son of Tzipora and Aharon, was born on the 1st of Tishrei 5747 (October 1, 1946),Eliezer was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of November 1964, and during his service he underwent a course from technical years, ammunition, and ammunition ammunition. In the Six Day War, his unit joined an armored unit that participated in the conquest of northern Jerusalem, Ramallah and the Golan Heights. In preparation for his release, he received a letter of appreciation from his commanders, in which he wrote: “Luzi invested a devoted part of the unit during his years of service, and he excelled in supervising the work and subordinates.” In mid-August 1967, Luzi completed his compulsory military service and, starting with civil life, began to work as a heavy mechanical equipment operator, breaking new roads and preparing land in the hills of the Galilee. His love and dedication to work were exemplary, and all those who knew him during this period testify. After a while he moved to work heavy transport. Lucie enjoyed this work very much, and he had great ambitions for the future, but he did not achieve it. On October 17, 1973, when his unit opened the way to the barges that preceded the crossing of the Suez Canal, Luzi volunteered to dig a bulldozer at the head of the convoy and to clear the way to the barges. The engineering corps took the monument to the Stilman family in Bnei Atarot, and the family placed the monument at the entrance to the moshav, in memory of the heroism and sacrifice of the late Luzi.
