Stern, Joseph (“Yossi”)

Son of Avraham and Sarah. Born on May 17, 1948 in Tel Aviv, he completed his elementary studies at the Hasmonean school in his hometown and then completed high school at the “New High School” in the literary track. He was conscripted in September 1966. But he was still serving his compulsory service and died on the 13th of Tishrei 5729 (13.10.68). He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. A room in the “Community” building in Tel Aviv was dedicated to his memory (and to Shmuel Yizraeli). His memory was raised in the “Jubilee”, the newsletter of the “New High School” school.
