Stemmed, Ezekiel


Son of Ezra and Victoria. He was born on March 1, 1940 in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. He grew up in Persia and attended school there. When he immigrated to Israel as a child, he continued his studies at the Youth Aliyah organization in Ramat Hadassah and in the Ayelet Hashahar farm for four years. Afterward, he studied for three years at evening classes at the Hebrew Technion in Haifa. He worked as a garage mechanic. Was a loyal son of his parents and a devoted father to his family. He was conscripted into the IDF in August 1959. He died on Friday, July 14, 1964, and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. He left a wife and a child.
