Steiner, Moshe (“Ruby”)


Moshe, son of Avraham-Azriel and Rivka Steiner, was born in Chechoslavakia in 1940. In 1949 immigrated to Israel as part of the Youth Aliya with his older brother. Moshe was drafted into the IDF in late August 1960 and joined the Nahal Brigade. In August 1969 He was called to active reserve duty with the Paratroopers Unit where he served, and on 3.9.1969 he fell in the Jordan Valley in an encounter with the enemy in the area of ​​the Damiah Bridge. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
