Steinberg, Shmuel

Son of Aryeh and Sarah. He was born on May 30, 1935 in Tel Aviv. He completed his studies at the “Yesod HaMaala” elementary school and later at the Tel Aviv Municipal High School. Belonged to seafarers. He was thirsty for all his life and after graduating from high school, he planned to study at the Faculty of Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Was conscripted into the IDF in September 1953. He attained the rank of sergeant and was fond of all his apprentices and subordinates, while he was fulfilling his duties on January 12, 1956. He fell and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
