In 1947 he moved with his friends as a training nucleus to Kibbutz Hulta and enthusiastically wrote to his parents about his plans for an independent settlement later in the year, and immediately joined the Haganah, served in the Yiftah Brigade and participated in all the battles in the area. on his last visit to the kibbutz, he put together a pamphlet for his friend that died and said with a smile: “Who knows if it is not close to the day when someone will print such a pamphlet for my memory?” Moshe fell in his first attack on the Nebi Yusha police station on April 15, 1948. He was put to rest at the cemetery in Hulata.
