Stashover, Liora


Daughter of Leon and Hela. She was born on January 4, 1957, in Givatayim. Gordon and the Kalei High School in Givatayim. At school, Liora was diligent about her studies, but she knew how to teach some of the students to her help. Liora was prominent in every activity, in her willingness to contribute to the whole. Her sensitivity, her joy of life, and her perseverance were a source of pleasure for everyone around her. On September 10, 1975, Liora was drafted into the IDF and did most of her service in the Nacham Unit. The mission of this unit is to deal with marginalized youth – for this purpose she devoted all her energies and devoted her work faithfully and conscientiously. On the 22nd of Sivan 5737 (June 8, 1977) Liora fell during her service. She was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. She left behind her father, mother and brother. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, the commander of her unit noted her contribution to nurturing the youth of the periphery and her warm and heartfelt attitude towards the members of her unit. Her family donated a library and records to her name in the school where she studied. Gordon ‘in Givatayim.
