Ben Irina and Alexander. Born in the Ukraine on January 31, 1979. He grew up in Dnipropetrovsk, where he studied in elementary school and in high school, and in his spare time he liked to read books and visit the theater. Father Alexander, David and his mother immigrated to Israel and settled in Netanya, where David worked at the Sano factory for a year and a half, until he joined the IDF. In August 1999, David enlisted in the IDF, serving in the northern region as a truck driver and later as a driver of a heavy vehicle, and was very pleased with the unit and its staff, and even his commanders were pleased with his devoted service.In January 2002 David, who was twenty- And was accepted to the proposal to continue his career in the same unit. During his service David met Victoria, also from the Ukraine, and their love flourished. The two became engaged and planned their marriage. On the 5th of Sivan 5762 (June 5, 2002) David fell in a terrorist attack at the Megiddo junction. That morning he boarded an Egged bus on line 830 en route from his home in Netanya to a base in the north. At the Megiddo junction, a car bomb hit a bus carrying a suicide bomber, and almost everyone in the bus was hit. David was killed on the spot. He was twenty-three years old when he fell. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Netanya. Survived by his mother and fiancee.
