Sror, Pinchas

Son of Khalifa and Zahira. He was born on January 28, 1924, in the city of Matamata in Tunisia. He graduated from elementary school. The family immigrated to Israel, and later Pinchas worked in the Bratshot and found his bread. He participated in the Sinai Campaign and on 28 Kislev 5717 (2 November 1956) fell in battle. He was buried at the Military Emergency Cemetery in Bari and on 28 October 5757 he was transferred to the eternal military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. He left a wife and five children.
