Springer, Ludwig


Was born in 1920. During the Second World War, Ludwig responded to the call of Yishuv institutions and volunteered for the British army. He was stationed in the cavalry corps and served in Egypt. On 20 Tamuz, July 15, 1941, he was injured in a car accident and died of his wounds, and was brought to eternal rest in a military cemetery in Ismailia. His memory was immortalized in the book “A Nation in Its War,” in “The Book of the Year” The Jabotinsky Institute. Grave location of tomb 6A7. He died at the age of 21.
