Spivak, Vladimir (Wova)
Son of Maria and Boris. He was born on February 26, 1982 in the city of Bobruisk in Belorussia, Russia. In 1990, after graduating from first grade, he immigrated to Israel with his parents and his brother Alexander. The family lived in Shlomi, where Vladimir began his studies at the Ben-Zvi elementary school. He attended seventh grade at the Western Galilee School in Kibbutz Kabri and continued his studies at a boarding school in Kiryat Tivon. At the age of fourteen he volunteered for the Civil Guard in Shlomi and before his enlistment worked in the factory. Vladimir was very attached to his parents and brother, who was his best friend. He was a loving and loving son and brother. A happy and sociable boy, who in his free time liked to play sports, spend time at sea, discotheques and picnics in the countryside. At the end of September 1999, Vladimir enlisted in the IDF, was assigned to the maintenance corps, took a driving course and was assigned to the Hiram Battalion, where he took a course in driving more than 15 tons and returned to the brigade and was a good soldier, disciplined and loved by his commanders. (16.10.2000) Cpl. Vladimir fell in the line of duty and he is eighteen years old at the time of his death. He was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Shlomi. Survived by his parents and brother.
