Spiegel, Raphael (“Rafi”)

Son of Aryeh and Hannah. He was born on October 16, 1946 in Tel Aviv. He studied at the “HaKalir” elementary school and after graduating from the ORT vocational high school. In July 1965 he was drafted into the IDF and served in the Nahal Brigade. He was a youth counselor on behalf of Hanoar Hazioni. In the middle of his compulsory service, on the 16th of Tishrei, 16 October 1967, he died suddenly. He excelled in his dedication to work, in his handsome and pleasant manner. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
