Hermann and Hedy’s only son. He was born on the 16th of Elul 5706 (August 16, 1956) in Jerusalem, and his parents separated when he was three years old, and this event left his impression on him throughout his life. He studied at the elementary school near the Rehavia Gymnasium and completed his studies at the Gymnasium itself, and joined the Scouts movement in the fourth grade, and together with his fellow movement members he participated in camps and trips around the country. For many years he was appointed as a guide for the younger classes and was active in the cultural committee, and in 9th grade joined the Allenby Shooting Club of the Gadna, where he was active For about two years and was among the top scorers. Gadi will honor the club in national shooting competitions. Gadi was a multi-colored athlete and excelled at swimming. He also achieved very high achievements in his studies. His main interests were history studies – general and Israeli. Gadi was one of the best students in the school in all matters related to natural sciences, especially mathematics. He controlled the teaching material so superbly that even his teachers were amazed by his extensive knowledge. Gadi wanted to study medicine after his discharge from the IDF, and when he grew up, Gadi began to deal with electrical appliances, and there was no device in the house that Gadi could not handle. He was an excellent friend and a great curator, and he was a loyal friend and a wonderful son, and his outstanding qualities were loyalty, seriousness, perseverance, patience and thoroughness.
