Soloveitchik, Pinchas

Son of Hannah and Jacob, was born on October 30, 1926 in Jerusalem and studied in the Talmud Torah. Pinchas joined the Irgun underground and was a zealot of national values, and in his civilian life he worked in an electrical factory and according to the testimony of his superiors he was one of the most skilled workers in his profession. On the 8th of Av, 5708 (August 13, 1948), Pinchas was killed. He was buried in the yard of Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.
