Solomon, Sophie

Daughter of Abraham and Diana. Born on 20 February 1956 in Bombay, India, she immigrated to Israel with her family in 1958. She studied at Meginim Elementary School and at the youth center in Kiryat Shmona, where Sophie was the eldest Eight children, despite her strong desire to continue her studies, were forced to help her parents in caring for her younger brothers and supporting the family, and Sophie had many friends, all of whom were accepted and loved. On the 29th of Kislev 5735 (29.11.1974) Sophie fell during her service. Was brought to rest in the cemetery in Kiryat Shmona. Survived by her parents and eight brothers and sisters. In a letter of condolences to the bereaved family, the commander praised Sophie’s dedication to her role and her warm and warm attitude toward people.
