Solimany, Moshe


Son of Lutapula and queen. He was born in Teheran in February 1949. About a year later, the family immigrated to Israel with him in the Beit Shean transit camp and the Ashkelon transit camp, and he learned all the absorption lines, and he attended the AD Gordon elementary school in Ashkelon And then studied for two more years at the local vocational school. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement and was modest in his ways and in his other positive qualities he would have won the hearts of many friends. Prior to his enlistment in the IDF, he worked as an apprentice and was trained in the profession of car electrical engineering, was drafted into the IDF in February 1968, and a month later, on 6 March 1968, died of an illness and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Migdal Ashkelon. The commander of his unit, in a letter of condolence to his family after Moshe’s death, wrote: “Despite the short time he spent in my unit as a rookie, he was fond of his commanding officers and friends, proud, cheerful and joyful, eager for every purpose set before him.
