Solimany, Moshe

Son of Lutapula and queen. He was born in Teheran in February 1949. Prior to his enlistment in the IDF, he worked as an apprentice and was trained in the profession of car electrical engineering, was drafted into the IDF in February 1968, and a month later, on 6 March 1968, died of an illness and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Migdal Ashkelon. The commander of his unit, in a letter of condolence to his family after Moshe’s death, wrote: “Despite the short time he spent in my unit as a rookie, he was fond of his commanding officers and friends, proud, cheerful and joyful, eager for every purpose set before him.
