Sofer, Benjamin (“Benny”)

Son of Akiva-Shlomo and Miriam. On the first day of the Six-Day War, he was wounded south of Bir Hasna in Sinai, but died of his wounds at the hospital on the 17th of Sivan 5727 (June 15, 1967). He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
