Sober, Alan (Aaron)


Son of Fay and Leonard was born on December 25, 1961, in England. He completed his high school studies in England and was a member of the Bnei Akiva movement, where he received a traditional and national education. Allen joined the Nachal group and immigrated with him to Israel in July 1980. He settled in Kibbutz Sde Eliyahu in the Beit Shean Valley, which belongs to the Hapoel Hamizrachi movement. Allen served in the Nahal Brigade, learned Hebrew in the Ulpan, completed basic training and was stationed with his unit on the northern border, and was on his way back from a vacation in his kibbutz to his unit, which was stationed in a front position in south Lebanon. The son of two children, was killed and his brother was killed when he died at the age of 21. At the request of his family, his body was buried in his home country of England, where he was survived by his parents and two sisters. Of Aaron (Allen) cut off a system of action full of content and interest, a system that was at its inception. He was a warm and believing Jew, an ardent Zionist, who believed in all his organs in the realization of Zionism, and was impressed by Alan, who was first of all a human being, who always sought the most difficult tasks for himself and performed them flawlessly. He saw his service in the IDF, his settlement on the kibbutz, as a mission to realize Zionism and believed in his Lev in his own way. “
