Son of Ida-Leah and Yitzhak-Yeshayahu, was born on April 12, 1925, in Volkovisk, Poland. Grew up and was educated in a Zionist atmosphere, and in the Polish Diaspora he attended a Hebrew school founded by Tarbut. On March 17, 1935, he emigrated to Israel with his parents. he joined agricultural training in Nahalal and Shimron. Was about to leave with his wife for permanent settlement in the village of Kish. In the meantime, the War of Independence broke out, and when the members of the Heh “l division fell in the Hebron hills on their way to the besieged Gush Etzion, he could not sit next to his young family. On March 15, 1948, he enlisted in the Palmach. As a husband and farmer, he did not have to be drafted. When he was offered an administrative service, he refused to accept him and demanded that he participate in combat operations. Aryeh volunteered, two weeks after enlisting, to escort a convoy of supplies and equipment from Jerusalem to Gush Etzion. The large convoy left on Saturday, 27 March 1948, from Jerusalem to bring supplies and reinforcements to Gush Etzion. The intention was to take advantage of the surprise, quickly unload the equipment and return to Jerusalem. The convoy arrived at the Gush without incident but was delayed more than planned due to loading problems. This time allowed the Arab forces to organize and call forces to the region. On its way back, the caravan encountered several roadblocks and gunfire, but managed to reach a room, about 2 kilometers south of Bethlehem, where a large checkpoint was erected, which the armored vehicle was unable to overcome and remained stranded. Of the Arabs, who managed to turn around and return to Gush Etzion, where the convoy assembled in a stone house near Nabi Daniel and fought a crowd of Arabs until the following evening, And was buried in a mass grave in Sanhedria in Jerusalem (November 15, 1951) was transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
