Skali, Jacob

Son of Shalom and Rachel. He was born on 19 May 1955 in Tunis. He immigrated to Israel with his family that same year. He started his elementary studies at the Uziel School in Ashkelon and completed it at the son of Tzvi School in the same city. After that he studied for one year the framework profession, within the framework of the youth center. Yaakov was drafted into the IDF in early September 1973 and was assigned to serve in the infantry, serving as a rifleman, and was discharged from the army in mid-1976 and was called for active duty. Before his enlistment in the IDF, Yaakov worked as a construction electrician to help his parents and his family, and after he was released from the army and after marrying Rachel, he had to support and support many people. On the 5th of Kislev 5737 (05.11.1976) Jacob fell during his service, was brought to eternal rest in the Ashkelon cemetery, and left behind a wife, parents, three brothers and four sisters, and his memory of his brother Shimon, who fell during his service, By donating a Torah scroll to a synagogue.
