He was born in 1926 in Czechoslovakia and immigrated to Israel in 1946. During the War of Independence he served in the Alexandroni Brigade. He fell in a battle in Arab Kfar Saba on Wednesday, May 13, 1948. He was laid to rest in the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery
