Siri, Mordechai (“Mordoch”)


Son of Yahya and Zahara. He was born on November 29, 1951 in Petah Tikva. He attended the “Ner-Etzion” religious school and from there he moved to the “Neveh Makov” school. Mordechai was a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement and was active in it as a youth counselor. He was known as a sports fan and was involved in swimming and soccer. He also participated in marching and marching and volunteered in the community. He loved music and played the trumpet well. He was honest, kind, sociable and friendly to all his friends. He was the driving force in every social gathering. He was modest and quiet and behaved with dignity and politeness in every person. Mordechai was drafted into the IDF in mid-November 1969 and assigned to the Armored Corps on March 16, 1971. He was taken to the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
