Simsolo, Yitzhak
Yitzhak, son of Aharon and Joya Simsolo, was born on July 7, 1947 in Tel Aviv. In May 1965, he was drafted into the IDF and served in the Golani Brigade, but half a year before his release, the Six-Day War broke out. On the second day of the battles, on the 27th of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967) Yitzhak, who was hit in the Sinai by a sniper, was buried in the emergency military cemetery in Bari and was later transferred to the Israeli military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
