Siag, Joshua
Son of-Hanna and Rahamim was born in Jerusalem on 10 May 1959. He completed his studies at the Sderot Comprehensive School and then moved to the IAF Technical School in Haifa, completing three years of training in helicopter mechanics. In January 1978, Yehoshua enlisted in the IDF and served in the IAF as an airborne helicopter technician. After completing training and training, he was promoted to Corporal in October 1978. Yehoshua was excellent in his service, and in August 1979 he was awarded the rank of sergeant, after which he began serving in the regular army. On the day of Tisha B’Av (August 12, 1980), he left Eilat for the Valley of the Moon. At one end of the road the car overturned, and Joshua was killed. He was 21 and a half years old when he died. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Sderot cemetery. Yehoshua left behind his parents, brother and sister.
