Shwartz, Arieh-Naftali (Bartzi)


Son of Shmuel (Elmer) and Malka (Mali). He was born on March 14, 1933, in the city of Siberia, Romania. He completed four grades in primary school and then three in high school. Arrived in Israel in 1948 after spending three months in Cyprus. He spent two years in the agricultural institute in Nahalal. He worked at the Okba factory in Rishon Letzion. He discovered talent for painting and sculpture and left behind his works. He was drafted into the IDF in October 1950. He fell in the line of duty on the fifteenth day of Tammuz 5707 (5707-1955) and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Rishon Letzion.
