Shvili, Yehoshua


Son of Miriam and Menachem, was born on September 16, 1928 in Jerusalem. He studied and worked in the printing industry. During the War of Independence he joined the ranks of the defenders of the homeland and served in the Jerusalem Brigade. He fell in battle in the vicinity of the Tzuba quarries, near Castel, on the fifth of Adar II 5708 (April 5, 1948). He was buried in the Sanhedria cemetery. On the fifteenth of Cheshvan 5711 (15.11.1951), he was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem
