Shuster, Ephraim-Aryeh
Son of Fredel and Dov, was born in 1926 in the city of Turdzin, Poland, and finished elementary school. At the end of World War II, he immigrated to Israel in 1946 on a ship called Transylvania. With the outbreak of the War of Independence he enlisted and served in the Jerusalem Brigade. He was among the defenders of the Radar camp during the Legion’s attack on the camp and its conquest. This battle fell on the 17th of Iyar 5708 (May 26, 1948). Was brought to rest with his comrades for battle at a mass grave in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
