Yitzhak (Itzik), son of Rosette and Yaakov, was born on 27.11.1953 in Acre. After completing his studies he received a government diploma, and was a diligent, energetic and curious child, and when he was in first grade he used to get up early and was one of the first students to come to school. One of his friends in the army spoke of his good temper. When the Yom Kippur War broke out, Yitzhak was sent from the Armored Corps to the southern front, and acted as a liaison officer in a tank unit, which fought fiercely in the battle against the Egyptians. On October 7, 1973, he was hit and killed by the Egyptians during an armored battle in the Armored Corps, which took place on the “Liquid” ridge, in the central sector of the Suez Canal.
