Shurzker, Menashe

Son of Sarah and Jacob, was born on May 15, 1928 in India. At the beginning of April 1970, Menashe was drafted into the IDF, and after basic training he was transferred to the Haganah service. After being released from regular service, he worked in a textile factory in Be’er Sheva, the Beersheba municipality, and many other places. However, every year Menashe went out to do his duty in the reserve service and did it impeccably. On January 1, 1981, Menashe fell during his service and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva.
